<h3>CONTEXT<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As the &#8220;insurer of insurers,&#8221; the reinsurance sector is now a key driver of long-term economic stability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Offering Life (Scor Global Life) and Non-Life (Scor P&#038;C) activities and benefiting from over 40 years of extensive experience, Scor is a major player in this sector, ranking as the world&#8217;s number 5 in 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to standardize the solution and facilitate the consolidation of accounts, the group decided in 2013 to select SAP as its single Finance IS and launched the &#8220;1GL&#8221; project, based on the following guiding principles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>&gt;  A single chart of accounts shared by all entities  <\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>&gt;  Multi-ledger management for reporting in local and Group (IFRS) standards<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>IMPLEMENTATION<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To ensure the maintenance of its IS, Scor called upon MeltOne to help maintain and implement new SAP functionalities within the existing solution. To this end, MeltOne was commissioned to assist the SAP Competence Center: providing help and support to solution users\u2014primarily accountants, management controllers, and consolidators; assistance with the financial closing; management of the Transfer Pricing process for all group subsidiaries (the process of reallocating costs from Holdings to operational entities); and expertise and management of evolutions within the SAP Finance module. <\/p>\n<h3>RESULT<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through its support in resolving group incidents and its system and business expertise, MeltOne has contributed to improving the quality of the Scor IS. The implemented evolutions have helped facilitate accounting processes (implementation of DAS2, VAT automation). <\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n    \n            <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n
