The group has launched a structuring project aimed at modernising its EPM set-up, while securing consolidation processes that are already mature and widely adopted by the teams. However, the announced end of the software and the need to standardise the data collection and reporting process pushed Econocom to find a new high-performance tool with no loss of functionality, in a context of tighter regulatory requirements (Pillar 2 Two and ESG) and growing reporting needs. <\/p>\n<p>Launched in late 2023, the project was structured progressively to secure each stage. The initial work focused on management issues before addressing the central task of financial consolidation. This approach made it possible to phase the transition over time, prepare the teams, and lay the groundwork for greater convergence between management and consolidation  <\/p>\n<p>The choice of Tagetik fits within this logic. The challenge was to preserve existing reference points while introducing new practices that are more structured and clearer for end users. <\/p>\n<p>Training sessions were organised on site to enable Finance teams to quickly project themselves into the new environment. Two phases of parallel running with SAP BFC were then put in place to compare results, adjust settings, and secure the final switch to Tagetik. The first close carried out without SAP BFC, in autumn 2025, was thus conducted under controlled conditions.  <\/p>\n<p>Initial user feedback highlights Tagetik\u2019s smooth navigation, a beneficial contribution to structuring close activities, and better visibility into process progress.
