RELEASE SAP BUSINESS BYDESIGN 2302

A new release of SAP Business ByDesign is now available in its 2302 version.

This is an opportunity for MeltOne to present an overview of the main new features available to users.

I – Horizon Evening Theme

SAP Business ByDesign now offers a night mode, derived from the default Morning Horizon mode: Evening Horizon.

This theme is also available on the SAP Business ByDesign mobile application. Interactive with your smartphone settings, the theme will be automatically available when night/dark mode is activated for better visibility for users.

II – Mobile Application Design Improvement

The design of the SAP Business ByDesign mobile application has been modified, both in icon management and in the user interface, thus complementing the Horizon theme of SAP Fiori. The screens have been optimized for an overall appearance that brings more consistency and improved ease of use.

III – Improvement of the MLC (Machine Learning Cockpit) module

New in release 2211, new data samples complete the Machine Learning Cockpit:

• Sales Quote
• Incomplete delivery forecast for purchase order items
• Supplier proposal for purchase requests
• ABC classification proposal for customers and suppliers

A new scenario is available, concerning the prediction of opportunity success. This scenario can be used to create models and prediction cycles to obtain the probabilities of an opportunity’s success.

IV – Workflow Rules

In addition to the current release, new business objects are available in the definition of workflow rules:

• Price List
• Employee
• Employee Transfer

The creation of workflow rules remains the same; notifications or emails will be sent to the persons indicated in the settings when specific field values have been modified, based on the conditions defined in the workflow rules.

V – Data Extraction

It is now possible to extract remuneration and time and activity management data directly from the functional menu “New Extraction Run.”
