SAP Analytics Cloud
With its Q3 2025 release, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) continues its evolution by integrating even more AI-powered features. After introducing the first generative AI use cases in previous versions, SAP is taking a new step by making the platform smarter, more intuitive, and more accessible. Whether it is to automate the creation of complex formulas, summarize charts, or streamline the reading of comments, SAC transforms the daily user experience. At the same time, notable improvements to the interface and widgets enhance productivity and personalization.
1. AI-assisted advanced formula generation
Thanks to Generative AI, it is now possible to create advanced scripts for data flows simply by describing your needs. No more manual coding; AI allows you to automatically produce the logic required to transform or calculate data in planning actions. This approach makes the process not only faster but also more accessible. The icing on the cake: SAC can automatically generate a natural language description of existing formulas, making script documentation and understanding much easier.
2. Automatic chart summarization
The SAP Analytics Cloud add-in for PowerPoint, already essential for creating clear presentations from complex data, is becoming even more powerful: now, AI simplifies and accelerates the creation of your slides!
You can now use it to describe and summarize a chart imported from an SAP Analytics Cloud report. Once the summary is generated, you can modify it to suit your target audience. And just like with your charts, a single click is all it takes to update the summary if your data changes, so you no longer waste time updating your presentations.
3. AI-assisted comments
SAP Analytics Cloud offers the ability to add comments to data points in stories to improve collaboration between users. However, when comments accumulate, it becomes difficult to keep track. Fortunately, a new feature addresses this issue! You can now use AI to summarize or translate comments, making your colleagues’ feedback much more readable. With clarity in mind, you can also use AI to help you write clear and precise comments using the “Rewrite” button.
4. New customizable home page
The new version of the SAP Analytics Cloud home page, deployed with the Q3 2025 release, has been entirely redesigned to offer users an optimized and personalized experience from the very first login.
The design has been simplified to become clearer and more responsive. The addition of new widgets improves navigation efficiency and makes getting started more fluid.
Alongside existing widgets (Recent Files, Calendar Tasks, etc.), SAP is introducing five new card types: Onboarding, Quick Actions, Just Ask, Resources, and Favorites, available as soon as SAC is opened.
Just Ask, which highlights conversational analysis via Joule, stands out particularly for its interactive approach.
In parallel, the Onboarding and Quick Actions widgets facilitate navigation and accelerate access to key features.
These improvements allow for faster navigation tailored to individual needs, enhanced productivity through dashboard personalization, and a modern interface that reflects SAP’s technological innovation.
5. Optimized table experience
SAP has responded to SAC user requests with this latest update to the optimized table experience. It offers a redesigned interface that is more consistent with graphical visuals and integrates all the features of classic tables. But the progress doesn’t stop there:
- Addition of undo/redo buttons
- Mobile compatibility (responsive)
- Further improved tooltips and data synchronization
- And above all, an intuitive builder panel to configure the table layout, dimensions, filters, and calculations in just a few clicks.
