Anaplan Newsletter September 2023

Anaplan regularly updates the content and features of its platform. This is an opportunity for MeltOne to present these new features to you by putting them into context and illustrating them with application cases.

What’s New for September

1.📝 Form validation 

New options have been added to form creation to provide additional formatting. You can now specify a minimum and maximum number of characters for text-format elements and an authorized value range for number-format elements.

Use case: I want users to be able to add overhead line items with a minimum of 8 characters for the line name and for the entered amount to be negative.

2. 🚣 Page navigation  

A new way to link pages together is available. Rather than adding a clickable link to the title of any card type, you can now add a button that redirects to the desired page directly within the action cards.

Use case : I want to create a button that allows me to return to my application’s homepage.

3.🔃 Anaplan workflow

Anaplan has unveiled a new feature: the ability to automate the planning process by automatically notifying users when action is required on their part. Workflow is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing systems, thereby simplifying the user experience.
