Manitou – CCH Tagetik
I – CONTEXT
The Manitou Group is a French company based in Ancenis (Loire-Atlantique) that designs, manufactures, distributes, and services material handling equipment for the construction, agriculture, and industrial sectors.
The Manitou Group designs, assembles, and distributes more than 400 products under the “Manitou”, “Gehl”, “Mustang”, “Loc”, and “Edge” brands.
Machine production is carried out across 11 production sites (Product Units): 5 sites in France and 6 abroad.
For distribution, the Group has a network of 1,400 dealers worldwide. It also relies on major account customers. The Group is also developing points of sale to carry out direct sales without going through the dealer network.
A global market leader, Manitou Group recorded revenue of 1.6 billion euros in 2020. It brings together 4,400 talents across 30 companies worldwide, united by a shared passion.
II – IMPLEMENTATION
The Manitou Group expressed the need to increase its agility in budgeting and management consolidation. It therefore launched a call for tenders to acquire a budgeting and management consolidation tool and implement it in 2018.
This tool was specifically required to:
- Optimize existing budgeting and management consolidation processes,
- Limit re-entry and accounting/management reconciliation work,
- Reduce time spent on time-consuming data control and reporting tasks,
- Produce analytical elements at a granular level,
- Facilitate budget simulation (assumptions, iterations, versioning),
- Implement reforecast processes,
- Define the best software solution for managing production planning
III – RESULTS
