MeltOne Advisory at the ICN Business School Careers Marathon!

Paris, February 4, 2016: an early-morning meeting at Gare de l’Est with Franck Personne, Partner at MeltOne Advisory, heading to Nancy on the 8:13 train. Our mission? To meet students at the Careers Marathon organised by the Careers and Internships Department of ICN Business School. Several big names were also present at this marathon (Crédit Agricole, EDF, Lactalis Group, EY, Total, Decathlon, KPMG, etc.).
MeltOne met with 1st and 2nd year students at 11:30 to host a conference. The topic? “Project management and the evolution of information systems in finance departments.” A broad programme! We certainly lost a few along the way, but overall we felt a genuine interest from the students in consulting careers.
We are sharing with you feedback from Jennifer MALGOUVERNE, Head of the Careers and Internships Department – ICN, on our session:
“Your expertise and your sharing of experience enabled our students to discover the professions they will be able to pursue at the end of their studies and to receive valuable advice for preparing their careers. The feedback we have already received from students is very positive; they particularly highlight the very practical nature of the information provided and a real reflection on the reality of the market.”
On our side, it was a pleasant experience, as enriching as it was brief. End of the presentation at 12:30… return to Paris planned on the 13:40 train. We still took the time to talk with the students and to stop by to say hello to Sabrina, an ICN student (pictured), who will be joining us in early April.
MeltOne has sought to establish a preferred partnership with certain schools, including ICN Business School. It is in this context that we will soon be welcoming two final-year interns. For us, the final-year internship is a real springboard to secure a consultant position within MeltOne Advisory.
