Anaplan regularly updates the content and features of its platform. This is an opportunity for MeltOne to present these new features to you, putting them into context and illustrating them with application cases.

New features for October

1. Expand/Collapse display in a selector

Context selectors in applications now feature the ability to expand/collapse the display of list levels.

For hierarchical lists, the expand/collapse functionality applies automatically, without the need to add a filter or Show/Hide, thus allowing the user to display the items of their choice.

Use case: I want to display hierarchical details only for certain items.

2. Order selectors

A second new feature is the ability to reorder selectors on pages and worksheets.

Use case: I want to organize my selectors by relevance. 

3. Drill Down Improvement

October’s new features also include improvements to the UX drill-down, for which Anaplan is enhancing readability:

• Formulas are indented and syntax improved, similar to the modeling experience.
• The drill-down can be expanded for a better view of the formula and data.

Use case: I want to read the formula behind my table to understand the origin of my figures.
