An ambitious project to support the group’s growth

The Heppner group connects over 40 countries within 24 to 72 hours and also organizes sea and air freight to 157 destinations. In 2025, Heppner will celebrate 100 years of entrepreneurial adventure, driven by 3,600 employees and nearly 1 billion euros in revenue.

The group manages two consolidations in parallel: a statutory consolidation, carried out by the Group Consolidation department, and a management consolidation with its own rules and restatements. Reconciling these two views remained a complex exercise, especially since statutory consolidation relied on a legacy tool and numerous manual processes in Excel.

The choice of a global solution

Heppner selected CCH Tagetik for its EPM project, supported by MeltOne teams for the Statutory Consolidation aspect.
The project began with a common foundation phase to involve all stakeholders: consolidators and management controllers, and to define the main principles of the unified FP&A and consolidation solution.

Once the design was validated, the MeltOne teams configured and challenged business requirements to deliver a tailor-made solution, while supporting the Heppner teams during the key phases of UAT and historical data migration.
